Job Description
Chobani is a well-established food manufacturing company on a mission to make high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people while positively impacting communities and promoting a healthier world. Founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, an immigrant to the United States, Chobani has grown into one of America’s leading food brands, particularly known for its natural ingredient yogurt without artificial preservatives. Alongside yogurt, the company manufactures oat milk and creamers, catering to a wide customer base with a commitment to quality and wellness. Chobani’s reach extends across North America, Australia, and select international markets, with products produced in facilities located in New York, Idaho, Michigan, and Australia. The company proudly identifies as purpose-driven, people-first, and focused on food and wellness.
In 2023, Chobani expanded its portfolio by acquiring La Colombe, a prestigious coffee roaster known for its dedication to craftsmanship and impactful initiatives. This acquisition introduced cold-pressed espresso and lattes on tap to cafes nationwide, alongside ready-to-drink coffee beverages available at retail locations. Continuing its growth trajectory, Chobani acquired Daily Harvest in 2025, further diversifying its offerings with nutritious, convenient, ready-to-make meals.
The National Account Manager (NAM) for Hotel Management Companies is a pivotal role within Chobani’s La Colombe segment. This full-time position, with a competitive salary range of $123,300 to $150,700 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, focuses on managing and expanding relationships with third-party hotel management companies and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) owners. These entities operate large multi-brand hotel portfolios that provide significant opportunities for widespread brand adoption and conversion programs. The NAM’s core responsibility is to secure portfolio-wide approval for La Colombe products by strategically engaging with decision-makers at the corporate and regional Food & Beverage leadership levels within these organizations.
This position is highly strategic and requires building strong executive relationships to position La Colombe as a preferred portfolio-wide supplier, enabling seamless rollout across multiple properties and brands. The NAM drives growth through multi-brand conversion programs by creating and executing rollout strategies when management companies approve La Colombe. Additionally, the role involves detailed strategic planning, including the development and execution of named-account business plans aimed at distribution growth, account programming, and trade investment.
Other key duties include managing product placement, beverage program penetration, and menu integration across customer brands. The NAM is responsible for coordinating proposal cycles, negotiating contracts, and managing GPO approvals, ensuring competitive per-serving cost modeling and positioning. Relationship management is a crucial aspect of the role, involving negotiation of contracts and the delivery of customized presentations that leverage business insights to meet customer needs and secure wins. Regular business reviews and adherence to agreed goals are also essential.
The NAM collaborates cross-functionally with field sales, service operations, channel marketing, and product delivery teams to support property-level execution and deployment of new product innovations such as on-tap coffee solutions. Reporting and pipeline management duties include maintaining CRM records, providing pipeline updates to senior leadership, and supporting quarterly and annual business reviews through detailed performance reporting.
Candidates for this position should have at least 7 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales focused on away-from-home channels, with significant time working with hotel, premium restaurant, or chain accounts at the national level. Proven success in managing multi-level chain buyer organizations and experience handling complex RFP cycles, contract negotiations, and cost modeling are critical. The role calls for an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms like HubSpot. Prior exposure to selling within hotel management companies or REIT owners, as well as comfort managing multi-brand portfolios and franchisee decision-making structures, are highly desirable.
Chobani offers extensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on up to 5% of eligible pay. Family-friendly policies include fertility and childcare assistance, plus 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave after six months of employment. Wellness resources such as an employee assistance program, fitness discounts, wellness reimbursements, on-site gym access, and wellness communications support employee health and wellbeing. Paid time off includes 120 hours, 11 holidays, and paid volunteer time off. The NAM role requires 30-50% travel primarily to customer headquarters and key premium properties, reflecting the position’s strategic and relationship-driven nature. Chobani is committed to equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate based on any protected status.
