Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in a sales role in the bakery category in national accounts
  • Comfort in hunting for corporate accounts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Proven track record of being a dynamic 'hunter'

Job Duties

  • Partner with corporate purchasing teams to acquire new business
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in accounts
  • Participate in joint strategic account planning processes that develop performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for sustainable growth
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating necessary company personnel involvement
  • Expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Manage all facets of day-to-day account responsibilities
  • Manage the broker network by utilizing budgets and expectations
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
