Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in bakery category with national accounts
  • Comfort in hunting for corporate accounts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations
  • Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Proven track record as a dynamic hunter

Job Duties

  • Partner with corporate purchasing teams to acquire new business
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in accounts
  • Participate in joint strategic account planning to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and growth milestones
  • Lead solution development efforts aligning with customer needs while coordinating company personnel involvement
  • Expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Manage all day-to-day account responsibilities
  • Manage broker network using budgets and expectations
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
