Within this dynamic and growth-oriented company, the role of National Account Manager Beverage Packaging is a vital position situated in the Beverage Packaging Business Unit. This unit specifically focuses on serving large-scale dairy and juice producers, managing a comprehensive suite of packaging products, from juice and dairy machine fillers to the consumer-facing product packaging seen on retail shelves. The National Account Manager will be accountable for nurturing and expanding the volume of gable top cartons and fitments sold to key customers. This role involves strategic sales management focused on meeting volume, profit, and growth targets by building strong relationships with current and prospective clients. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Development, Marketing, Quality, and more, to ensure customer satisfaction and align solutions with customer needs.
This position is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range from $100,000 to $160,000, plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates will be based in the South or Midwest regions and will be prepared to travel approximately 30-40% of the time to meet business needs. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business sales marketing or related field
- At least 8 years of relevant business experience
- Proven sales success in consumer packaging
- New business development experience
- Ability and willingness to travel 30-40 percent
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel
- Self-motivated with strong ownership
- Commitment to professional growth
- Residency in South or Midwest
Job Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in business sales marketing or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience
- Proven track record of success in selling consumer packaging
- Demonstrated new business development skills

Job Duties
- Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within the assigned customer base focusing on volume profit and growth
- Communicate directly with current and potential customers to build strong relationships and understand their needs
- Manage overall customer relationships by collaborating with functional departments including distribution sales procurement manufacturing product development marketing quality accounts payable and others
- Exhibit energy and strong work ethic to drive effectiveness foster teamwork and earn trust of co-workers
- Utilize persuasive sales techniques to contact prospects and effectively explain the value proposition of product lines
- Identify develop and close new business opportunities to drive profitable sales growth
- Work closely with customers to secure accurate demand forecasts on a timely basis
- Ensure that all service and quality issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly
- Ensure compliance with company policies legal requirements including antitrust code of conduct and uphold ethical business practices
