Job Description

Novolex is a distinguished leader in the manufacturing sector specializing in food, beverage, and specialty packaging solutions. Serving diverse industries such as foodservice, restaurant delivery and carryout, food processing, grocery and retail, and the industrial sector, Novolex has established itself as a pioneer through its extensive expertise in various materials including resin, paper, molded fiber, aluminum, and more. The company boasts a vast product portfolio that includes 120 product categories, 250 brands, and over 39,000 stock keeping units (SKUs), providing customers with a multitude of stock and custom packaging solutions tailored to their needs. With a strong sustainability vision anchored on three pillars—products, operations, and people—Novolex is dedicated to advancing environmentally responsible practices and fostering a sustainable future for the packaging industry. This commitment is manifested through comprehensive, company-wide sustainability initiatives that drive growth and innovation while ensuring minimal environmental impact.

As a National Accounts Manager supporting the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Food Processor business, you will play a vital role in the company's commercial success. This position focuses on achieving ambitious sales goals and executing strategic sales plans within your designated territory and book of business, particularly in the Western United States. The role requires a skilled professional capable of balancing volume growth and profitability by nurturing new and existing client relationships. By collaborating closely with internal teams including CPG, Food Processor, and support groups, you will help develop and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives. The position demands building strong customer relationships through direct communication to understand their needs and develop tailored business plans that address both short-term and long-term requirements.

You will spearhead efforts to secure and maintain product distribution channels by establishing Master Supply Agreements that foster mutual growth and long-lasting partnerships. Demonstrating a deep understanding of Novolex's diverse product offerings, you will provide customers with actionable insights into the features, advantages, and benefits of the products and assist them in optimizing applications to maximize value. The role requires leveraging persuasive sales techniques and CRM tools to maintain a robust sales pipeline and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Frequent travel, including overnight stays, is expected, amounting to approximately 50% travel time, enabling direct field engagements and presence in key markets to promote business growth. You will also provide ongoing account support managing pricing, warranty claims, and receivables. Compliance with company policies, legal standards including antitrust laws, and ethical business practices is essential.

This salaried position offers a competitive pay range of $100,000 to $160,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits. Salary placement depends on factors such as skills, experience, education, and training. Novolex has a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with company match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, paid vacation and sick days, paid parental leave, paid holidays, and wellness programs. Employees benefit from a supportive environment focused on safety, well-being, ongoing professional development through training and education programs, and community engagement initiatives that emphasize sustainability and supporting local food and hunger relief organizations. Novolex is committed to equal employment opportunities across all employment practices and provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
