Job Requirements

  • State Nail Technician License
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Job Duties

  • Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures to guests
  • Assess guest needs, inquire about contraindications, and evaluate the condition of skin, hair, or nails
  • Advise guests on proper skin, hair, or nail care
  • Demonstrate, promote, and sell spa/salon retail products
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms
  • Monitor guest comfort throughout service
  • Adhere to scheduled appointment times
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation and treatment room
  • Dispose of trash and dirty linens properly
  • Secure supplies and equipment at shift end
  • Maintain current licensure
  • Report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Ensure clean and professional appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors
