We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Multisite Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the maintenance efforts across two or more apartment communities, ensuring that resident needs are met promptly and effectively. Working under the general direction of the General Service Director or Service Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering Equity Residential's brand promise of exceptional move-in experiences, total resident satisfaction, express service, and personal attention. The position requires a proactive individual who can handle various maintenance duties, complete make-ready work, and maintain the overall appearance and functionality of common areas.

As a Multisite Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for responding to resident service requests with professionalism and urgency, performing scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, and contributing to the upkeep of grounds, including trash removal and snow clearance when applicable. The role also involves participating in training programs to stay current with maintenance standards, housing laws, and company policies. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, as well as respond to after-hours emergencies when assigned on-call duties.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with general service maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment, interior repairs, and painting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, alongside a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for multi-site duties.
