We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-unit Restaurant Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time position plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our multiple bar and tap room locations across Orange County. The Multi-unit Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, staff supervision, inventory control, customer service excellence, and financial management to drive the overall profitability and success of our business.

The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive and organized leader with exceptional communication skills and a strong background in restaurant or bar management. They will have a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including health and safety regulations, beverage program development, and financial oversight. This individual will lead by example, motivating staff while fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development and high morale.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing bar operations that adhere to health and safety standards, developing innovative strategies to maximize revenue and customer retention, managing inventory to optimize costs, and creating an inviting ambiance that enhances the guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant or bar operations management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of inventory and financial management
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Legal drinking age and required certifications

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute all bar operations in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and controlling costs
  • Create and maintain an appealing bar atmosphere and ambiance
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff and management, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance staff productivity and morale
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by actively engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback and reviews, striving to continuously improve the bar experience
  • Implement strategies to build customer loyalty and increase customer retention
  • Curate and maintain an extensive beverage menu, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options
  • Stay updated with industry trends, introducing new and innovative drinks to the menu
  • Conduct regular tastings and staff training sessions to maintain product knowledge
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability
  • Monitor sales, expenses, and financial performance, implementing corrective measures when necessary
  • Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
