The Multi-site Occupational Health & Safety Manager role is a critical leadership position within Lipari’s safety department, transportation business unit, and depot-level operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on development, implementation, and management of comprehensive safety programs across multiple depots. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Safety, this role encompasses ownership of all facets of occupational health and safety, ensuring compliance with federal regulations such as OSHA and EPA standards, and enhancing the organization’s safety culture. The role entails fostering continuous safety improvements by collaborating with local and company leadership, transportation, HR, and maintenance teams to integrate safety into all business practices.

This position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and an extensive understanding of safety management systems, with a particular emphasis on DOT/FMCSA compliance in coordination with fleet safety leadership. The role involves up to 75 percent travel within the United States to oversee and support safety management across multiple depot sites effectively. The incumbent will lead a variety of safety-related programs and initiatives including risk assessment, incident management and investigation, training and education, safety culture communication, and performance monitoring. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, conducting regular audits, and fostering a positive safety culture through employee engagement and ownership.

The Multi-site Safety Manager also supports fleet safety and DOT compliance activities, providing backup assistance for fleet-related incident investigations and driving enhancements to driver safety programs.
