This full-time, day shift position is based in Deland, Florida at 151 Victoria Commons Blvd, offering a competitive pay range of $31.55 to $58.69 per hour. The role centers on supervisory and clinical responsibilities within the imaging department, focusing on ensuring high-quality imaging services that support patient care and safety. As a supervisor, you will play a vital part in coordinating daily operations, staff scheduling, and maintaining efficient workflows to meet patient volume and quality standards. You will oversee technologists and support staff, providing guidance and clinical expertise to ensure practices meet regulatory compliance and departmental policies.

Key responsibilities include acting as a clinical resource, managing staff productivity, and facilitating performance reviews and coaching for team development. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare leaders to ensure seamless imaging services while participating in quality improvement initiatives like image quality audits and process optimizations. This role also entails equipment oversight, including coordinating preventative maintenance to maintain operational readiness.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from accredited program
  • Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) or Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging RT(MR)(ARRT) or Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry RT(BD)(ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
  • 3+ years of technical experience
  • Ability to monitor staff productivity and provide coaching feedback to increase quality and productivity standards
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry
  • Ability to use sound judgment in emergency scenarios
  • Ability to delegate clinical tasks/assign clinical activities to implement plans of care
  • A high level of multitasking, organization, and proactive customer service skills
  • Must possess sound judgment, critical thinking skills, ability to manage multiple details, tasks, and decision-making abilities under busy and stressful working conditions
  • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Participates in scheduling, timekeeping, and supply inventory management to support operational efficiency and budget goals
  • Provides day-to-day supervision of technologists, support staff, and imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
  • Coordinates daily workflow and staffing assignments, balancing patient volumes, technologist availability, and room utilization
  • Serves as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and other staff, offering guidance on protocols, positioning, image quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety guidelines, ALARA principles, and regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Assists with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing competency assessment of technologists and new hires
  • Supports leadership in performance management through the talent care process, performance reviews, and providing coaching opportunities for team member development
  • Collaborates with radiologists, leadership, and other departments to facilitate timely and coordinated imaging services
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives, including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects
  • Ensures proper equipment functionality and coordinates preventative maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
