Job Requirements

  • must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ gaming license
  • must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures
  • must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment
  • aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution

Job Qualifications

  • possess general knowledge of preparations of various food items required
  • minimum of 1 years experience as a cook in a professional food establishment
  • possess excellent communication (verbal) skills
  • be able to read, understand, and execute recipes correctly
  • be highly organized and able to create and monitor work tasks with a group
  • required to have or obtain food handlers and alcohol service certifications

Job Duties

  • perform pre-opening and on-going back line, hot box, and buffet checks
  • work on the line or buffet
  • coordinate line or buffet preparation and production
  • meet with sous chef daily to review special events and plan prep and production for the day
  • perform opening and closing procedures ensuring clean, organized, and safe food handling areas and procedures
  • coordinate and perform all pre-shift prep, set-up, restocking of cooler, and properly rotating food items
  • perform other duties as assigned
