The current opening is for a Part-Time Bartender position at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $14.70 per hour with tips, and a training pay rate of $15.16 per hour. As a Bartender at Gaylord Hotels, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drink orders according to precise recipes, maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the bar area, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience through attentive and professional service.

Your responsibilities will include measuring and mixing drinks, opening and serving wine and champagne, stocking and replenishing supplies such as ice, glassware, and garnishes, and managing the cash register and payment transactions securely. The role demands attention to detail in maintaining safety and security policies, adhering to company standards for appearance and conduct, and actively promoting a positive team environment.

Bartender duties extend to handling closing procedures, such as balancing the cash bank, completing reporting documentation, and securing inventory and premises. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and handling various tasks that require stamina and dexterity. The position requires compliance with all safety training and certifications, contributing to a safe and welcoming workplace.

Gaylord Hotels prizes excellent communication, guest engagement skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs to ensure every visit is memorable. This role is ideal for individuals with at least one year of related work experience, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry, and those holding a high school diploma or GED.
