Job Description
Chili's is a renowned casual dining restaurant that has been delighting guests since its inception in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Known for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, flavorful fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's has carved out a unique position in the hospitality industry by blending quality food, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Over the decades, Chili's has built a legacy that goes beyond just serving delicious meals – it is about creating memorable experiences through genuine hospitality and community involvement. The company prides itself on its culture of fun, teamwork, and a commitment to making every guest feel special every time they visit.
At Chili's, managers play a pivotal role that combines leadership, hospitality, and operational excellence. The manager role is much more than overseeing daily restaurant operations; it requires a passion for people and a genuine desire to connect with team members and guests alike. Chili's managers are known for their ability to inspire and lead teams, creating a collaborative environment where everyone is motivated to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This position is full-time and offers the chance to be part of a company that values teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
As a Chili's Manager, you will be the crucial link between guest satisfaction and business success. The role demands someone who is wired for hospitality, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who understands that the restaurant industry is indeed a people business. Managers are responsible for leading their team through busy shifts, ensuring the highest quality standards in food and service, and maintaining control over operational costs. They are also tasked with hiring, training, and developing team members, helping them grow within the company. Transparency, accountability, and open communication are vital traits, as the manager must foster a workplace where team members feel valued and motivated.
Leadership at Chili's means leading with both heart and mind. Managers set the tone by role modeling excellence, holding team members accountable, and championing restaurant initiatives that drive guest engagement and operational success. They also ensure safety by practicing and enforcing food handling procedures and maintain alignment with Chili's cultural beliefs such as Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant. The ability to identify root causes of issues, demonstrate vulnerability, and promote positive change is essential for success in this role.
Moreover, Chili's Manager not only focuses on the inside of the restaurant but also on building relationships within the local community, enhancing the restaurant's reputation as a destination for great food and genuine hospitality. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who want to make a tangible impact on both their team and their community while driving business growth and guest satisfaction. The culture at Chili's celebrates both personal and professional achievements, creating a rewarding career pathway for managers who are hungry for both top business results and a fun, supportive work environment.
