This job opening is for Motorcoach Operators based out of the Louisville corporate office. Motorcoach Operators are tasked with safely possessing and operating company-owned vehicles, which requires a strong attention to safety and passenger care. This includes assisting passengers on and off the vehicle, particularly those who require wheelchair assistance, and managing the transport and discharge of all scheduled, chartered, tour, or sightseeing passengers.

The work environment varies widely, from city driving to navigating mountainous regions, under diverse weather conditions. Trips can be multi-day and extend over the road, providing dynamic and diverse driving experiences. Operators must uphold safe driving techniques, comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. Being a "People Person" is essential, as the job requires courteous and professional interaction with passengers and company personnel alike.

Job Requirements

  • Possess and maintain a Class B CDL with a Passenger endorsement
  • Possess and maintain a current DOT driver medical card
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings and pre-employment background/MVR check
  • Have 1 year proven Motorcoach driving experience
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Load and unload baggage by hand with potential lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Be 21 years of age or older for interstate driving

Job Qualifications

  • Possess and maintain a Class B CDL with a Passenger endorsement
  • Hold a current DOT driver medical card
  • Successfully pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Possess at least 1 year of proven Motorcoach driving experience
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving

Job Duties

  • Drive a motorcoach up to 45 feet in length and other for-hire company passenger vehicles
  • Assist passengers on and off the vehicle including those requiring wheelchair assistance
  • Transport and discharge all scheduled, chartered, tour, and sightseeing passengers
  • Apply safe driving techniques and comply with DOT regulations
  • Complete all required paperwork fully, legibly, and timely
  • Load and unload baggage by hand, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Maintain friendly, courteous, and professional interaction with passengers and company personnel
