The successful candidate will be responsible for thorough cleaning and detailing tasks, including washing, polishing, waxing, and interior cleaning using specialized materials and methods. The role also involves some minor maintenance duties such as checking and replenishing vehicle fluid levels and light building maintenance. Working under general supervision, the candidate will perform duties that support the overall operational environment by ensuring both vehicles and premises are kept in pristine condition.

In addition to vehicle care, this position requires moving vehicles between parking areas and wash bays safely, utilizing appropriate tools and cleaning solutions, and occasionally fumigating vehicles. The duties extend to maintaining the cleanliness of offices, parking lots, shops, and other surrounding areas. The position demands attention to safety and detail, including the ability to understand and comply with safety regulations when handling chemicals and cleaning agents. Job Requirements

No formal education required
Six months of practical experience as a vehicle washer or detailer, general assistant or porter preferred but not required
Skill at cleaning vehicles, office buildings and shops
Skill in checking vehicle fluid levels
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Knowledge of use of cleaning equipment, supplies, materials, machines and safe work practices
Valid Florida driver's license with a good driving record meeting company standards
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to safely operate motor vehicles especially motor coaches

Job Qualifications

Six months of practical experience as a vehicle washer, detailer, general assistant or porter preferred but not required

Job Duties

Move vehicles to and from parking areas and wash bays or racks
Drive vehicles through vehicle wash racks and cleaning stations
Measure and mix water and cleanser solutions according to recommended proportions
Wash exterior of vehicles using water, cleansers, brushes, sponges
Remove dust, grease, asphalt, concrete from exterior of vehicle using high-pressure washing equipment or solvents
Polish trim using polish, wax or other compounds
Wax or polish painted surfaces with appropriate compounds
Check and replenish fluid levels in vehicles including oil and transmission fluid
Clean interior of vehicles including rest rooms, windows, trim, instrument panels, carpets using broom, cloth, mop, vacuum cleaner, whisk broom and appropriate cleansing materials
May be required to fumigate vehicles with gases or sprays
Deliver inter-office messages, small equipment, parts, materials, supplies or other items between departments
Keep premises of office buildings, shops, parking lots and other areas clean and orderly
May set up and tear down tables and chairs in offices and shops
Perform minor maintenance and repair on buildings and grounds including hanging cabinets or signs, repairing minor damage
Remain watchful of property and surroundings, policing area and reporting suspicious activity
Perform other related duties as requested
