Job Requirements
- have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or 2 years of progressive experience in lending related positions
- possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- be able to demonstrate strong resiliency
- be adaptable to a challenging and fast-paced work environment
- have knowledge of mortgage lending products and underwriting guidelines

- understand mortgage lending processes and compliance standards
Job Duties
- perform a wide range of duties relating to the origination of residential mortgage loans
- maintain knowledge of and advise applicants on available loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines
- meet standards and objectives defined by management for mortgage loan sales and cross-sell other credit union products
- work with a team who values people over money and do not turn away loans based on size
- maintain high levels of customer service while managing each applicant, vendor, and department expectations
- establish and maintain professional partnerships with realtors and others within the community which benefits the credit union
- demonstrate strong resiliency in the face of industry challenges
