Job Requirements
- prior relevant experience as a prep cook or similar role preferred
- must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs continuously
- strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently with kitchen equipment
- strong communication skills

- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- assist in the preparation of ingredients for dishes including cutting chopping and measuring ingredients
- follow recipes and directions provided by the head chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared consistently and to high quality standards
- work with other kitchen staff members to ensure that all elements of the meal including sides and sauces are prepared in a timely manner
- ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including proper storage and labeling of all food items
- assist in the cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment including knives cutting boards and food processors
- ensure that all food waste is minimized and disposed of properly
