As part of the esteemed Heirloom Restaurant Group, which values diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity employment, Block Restaurant upholds a culture where employees from all backgrounds can thrive in a supportive and discrimination-free environment.

The restaurant is now looking for experienced cooks to join the team and play a key role in the successful launch of brunch and lunch offerings. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to culinary excellence and customer satisfaction. In addition to hands-on food preparation tasks, cooks will collaborate closely with fellow kitchen staff and the head chef to maintain a streamlined service that meets or exceeds operational goals.

Cooks will be expected to demonstrate attention to detail in following recipes and prep lists, measuring ingredients accurately, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen. The position emphasizes quality control, requiring cooks to inspect food for freshness and ensure each dish leaves the kitchen at peak quality.

The Block Restaurant puts a high value on teamwork and effective communication among staff, underpinning a kitchen environment where collaboration contributes to smooth service flow and ultimate customer satisfaction. Working here not only promises daily engagement with quality ingredients and creative menu items but also a platform for professional growth within a respected restaurant group.

Moreover, as part of the Heirloom Restaurant Group, the restaurant provides benefits such as paid time off and insurance reimbursement plans for full-time employees, making it a desirable employment option for those seeking both professional and personal support.
