Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Strong communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus but not required
  • A background in food service or hospitality is advantageous for understanding guest needs and expectations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Friendly and organized with excellent multitasking abilities

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables
  • Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed
  • Assist guests with inquiries or concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Support food service operations by helping with menu explanations and accommodating special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and address any issues promptly
