Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus but not required
- A background in food service or hospitality is advantageous for understanding guest needs and expectations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Friendly and organized with excellent multitasking abilities
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed
- Assist guests with inquiries or concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Support food service operations by helping with menu explanations and accommodating special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area
- Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and address any issues promptly
