Job Description
Hubbard Hill is a distinguished healthcare and rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and personalized services to its residents. Nestled in a caring community, Hubbard Hill specializes in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care, focusing on meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of its residents. The facility combines compassionate care with a serene, well-designed environment that includes spacious dining rooms, therapy gyms, lounges, courtyards, and gardens meticulously landscaped by expert gardeners. This unique design and hospitable approach ensure that every resident feels valued and supported throughout their stay.
As an establishment grounded in Christian values, Hubbard Hill strives to honor the legacy of its founders by fostering a culture of respect, dignity, and quality service. The interdisciplinary teams work closely with residents and families to create personalized care plans tailored to individual needs and goals. Hubbard Hill is committed to equal employment opportunities, embracing diversity and inclusion within its workforce, and maintaining a discrimination-free environment in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Currently, Hubbard Hill is seeking morning servers to join their dedicated team. This role is designed specifically for early shift workers from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm with a rotating weekend schedule, ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment. The morning server position is integral to the dining experience at Hubbard Hill, as servers will provide attentive and friendly meal service to residents while upholding strict standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can efficiently deliver excellent customer service by understanding and anticipating resident needs during meal times. Servers will be responsible for maintaining safe and sanitary conditions in their work areas, completing assigned cleaning tasks, and adhering to the department’s dress code and hygiene standards. Furthermore, the role includes attending ongoing in-service training and education sessions to stay updated with best practices and procedures.
Candidates with previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or clubs with fine dining are preferred, although training will be provided to those with a genuine aptitude for service and a positive attitude. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and comprehension, are essential for interpreting and explaining menus, addressing residents’ questions, and coordinating meal service effectively. Additionally, servers must be comfortable working collaboratively with residents and other team members to ensure each meal period is smooth and enjoyable.
This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact in the daily lives of residents, ensuring they receive warm, professional, and respectful meal service in a clean and inviting environment. Embarking on a career at Hubbard Hill means joining a team dedicated to compassionate care and hospitality excellence where employees' contributions are valued and residents’ satisfaction is prioritized.
