The position involves operating and controlling machinery for washing, dry cleaning, and drying laundry, including handling chemicals and lint filters. A crucial aspect of this role is identifying soiled, stained, or damaged items and determining appropriate handling, such as treating stains, re-washing, or discarding. The professional in this role will also be responsible for inspecting cleaned items, adjusting dryer settings according to fabric types, and maintaining meticulous records of all items processed. Folding laundry by hand or machine is also required, ensuring items are prepared neatly and efficiently for use or delivery.

Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is vital, including reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
