MOHS Histology Technician

The laboratory seeking to hire a full-time Histology Technician is located in north-eastern Wisconsin, approximately 80 miles north of Milwaukee and 50 miles south of Green Bay. The Histology Technician role is integral to the laboratory’s diagnostic process. The technician will be responsible for obtaining and preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination using a variety of complex histology procedures. This includes grossing, fixation, cutting, mounting, and staining tissue samples specifically for dermatopathologist review. The position demands accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining strict adherence to laboratory policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. Operating between Monday and Friday, with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., this full-time role offers a consistent schedule conducive to maintaining work-life balance. Experience with MOHS procedures is preferred but not mandatory. Skills in sample preservation, instrument maintenance, and lab documentation are essential.
