The role of a Sports Bar Server at Treasure Island is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry and delivering exceptional guest service. This position focuses on providing outstanding service in the Sports Bar area, where guests can enjoy a wide selection of drinks and food while watching sports events in a vibrant, social setting. The role requires a personable and professional individual who can greet guests warmly, serve food and beverages efficiently, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the bar. The Sports Bar Server is responsible for ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly and accurately, adhering to all responsible alcohol service guidelines and maintaining compliance with state regulations. This position offers a dynamic work environment where employees can develop their skills in guest interaction, teamwork, and multitasking. Ideal candidates have at least one year of cocktail experience, are at least 21 years old, and possess strong communication skills and physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing and moving at a fast pace. The role emphasizes a professional appearance, attention to detail, and a positive, upbeat attitude to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for guests. Additionally, the Sports Bar Server will assist in training new employees and collaborate closely with management to provide seamless service during regular shifts and special events. Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year cocktail experience
at least 21 years old
physically fit with good athletic condition and body strength
able to maintain a slender, toned/fit appearance
able to work in a fast-paced environment standing and moving for extended periods
ability to communicate effectively in English
willingness to participate in publicity and promotional activities
capable of following alcohol service laws and company policies
able to maintain professional appearance and hygiene
able to work flexible hours including special events
able to work well in team settings
availability to assist in training new employees

Job Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year previous cocktail experience required
must be a minimum of 21 years of age
good athletic physical condition/body strength necessary
must project a slender, toned/fit body image at all times
uniform will be provided by Treasure Island
high volume hotel/bar and restaurant experience preferred
must be available for publicity shoots, public appearances, modeling, other advertising, and promotional work as needed
must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
must have basic beverage and beverage serving knowledge
must be able to read, write and speak English

Job Duties

Greet guests in a timely, positive and friendly manner
provide exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards of service
efficiently serve food and beverage in all areas of the Sports Bar, following the sequence of service standards set forth by management
possess complete food and beverage knowledge of all products served
check IDs if the guest appears to be under 30
follow alcohol awareness techniques as needed
adhere to all responsible alcohol serving requirements as dictated by the state
handle monetary transactions at the point of sales system (cash, credit cards and room charges) in accordance with department policies and procedures
keep Sports Bar neat and orderly by disposing of trash and removing glassware, dishware and silverware no longer in use
communicate with fellow employees and Managers regarding Guest requests
consistently deliver exceptional service to every Guest while interacting in a professional manner
possess a positive attitude towards the Guest and fellow employees to meet and exceed TI Sports Bar standards
know all aspects of our business and match it to the Guest's needs to exceed their expectations
make positive eye contact with the Guest
maintain alert posture, appearing approachable to Guests
maintain utmost respect and courtesy for Guests at all times
maintain professional and well groomed appearance, posture and hygiene
maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and insure the health and safety of our Guests and fellow employees at all times
maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with Clark County Health Standards
possess the ability to work in a team environment
maintain flexibility to perform other job related tasks as deemed necessary by management
work station must be maintained and left stocked in the proper location and cleaned for next shift
be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a guest as well as any potential problems or concerns
assist new employees with training and answering questions
perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
maintain quality service standards with all guests by creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while coordinating all service requests
deliver food and beverage orders to guests in a timely manner
fulfill guest requests in a timely manner and assist guests with special requests
work special events as needed for successful operation of department
