The role of the Model Cocktail Server at MGM Resorts International is crucial to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic and high-energy environment. A Model Cocktail Server not only serves drinks but also contributes to the brand’s marketing efforts by performing in comedy acts, photo shoots, and participating in various promotional activities. This is a part-time or full-time opportunity with a starting pay rate of $14.4497 per hour. The job demands flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate is at least 21 years old, possesses relevant experience in cocktail service within high-volume bars or nightclubs, and is eager to develop a personal clientele. Moreover, the role embraces the use of social media to enhance guest engagement, making it suitable for individuals who are tech-savvy and enjoy interacting with a diverse audience. The Model Cocktail Server is also responsible for cash handling, maintaining assigned wardrobes, resolving guest complaints, and assisting in training new employees.

Job Requirements
- Is 21+ years of age
- work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- experience working in a nightclub and/or entertainment venue preferred
- food and beverage/cocktail service experience preferred
- two (2) years’ experience as a cocktail server in a similar high-volume bar or nightclub preferred

Job Duties
- Provide and expedite beverage orders for guests
- maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables, and POS station
- perform on-stage in comedy act, photo-shoots and other marketing events for purpose of developing and marketing the brand, attend activities outside of venue
- actively use social media to engage the guest in an immersive and interactive experience
- collect money and follow all proper cash handling and comp procedures
- focus on the development of a personal clientele list
- maintain assigned wardrobe and/or costumes in accordance with established standard
- resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
- otherwise refer the matter to management
- notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- assist management with training and mentoring new employees as requested
