AREA15 Las Vegas is a pioneering immersive entertainment district situated just parallel to the iconic Las Vegas Strip. It stands as the world’s first purpose-built hub dedicated to offering a broad spectrum of live events, interactive art installations, unique attractions, extraordinary design elements, eclectic retail stores, innovative technology, and diverse dining and nightlife experiences. AREA15 provides visitors with a curated mix of dynamic destinations including LIFTOFF Bar and Ride, Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, Dueling Axes, Five Iron Golf, Kaia, The Beast, Wink World: Portals Into the Infinite, Museum Fiasco, the Dopeameme Institute for Pleasure Research (D.I.P.R.), the JOHN WICK EXPERIENCE, and many other cutting-edge immersive entertainment ventures. This district continuously evolves with an ever-changing lineup of concerts, out-of-this-world nightlife, boundary-breaking production shows, and immersive art exhibitions that appeal to visitors of all ages and interests. Zone 2 of AREA15, named The Terminals, further enhances the visitor experience by hosting Universal Destinations & Experiences’ robust year-round horror entertainment, Universal Horror Unleashed, along with Felix & Paul Studios’ Interstellar Arc and The Escape Game/Great Big Game Show, among other exciting upcoming attractions.
As an equal opportunity employer, AREA15 is deeply committed to fostering a diverse workplace and ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to employment. The environment is vibrant, creative, and fast-paced, making it an exciting destination for individuals passionate about entertainment, art, and exceptional visitor services.
The Model Barback/Food Runner position at AREA15 offers a unique opportunity to work within this dynamic entertainment district, blending ART, MUSIC, and AMUSEMENT where the boundaries between reality and creativity blur. This role primarily focuses on maintaining excellent visitor service standards while ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations as mandated by the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD). The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced setting, possesses in-depth knowledge of health codes, policies, and elevated customer service standards, and is equipped to support bartenders by maintaining well-stocked bars and efficient service wells.
Key responsibilities include participating in promotional activities, posing for pictures in uniform or logo apparel, dressing up for themed events, and actively contributing to marketing and publicity efforts. The Model Barback/Food Runner assists with operational duties such as inspecting and maintaining assigned areas, supporting bartenders, breaking down orders, and delivering food from the kitchen in compliance with health codes. This role requires consistent interaction with visitors in a professional, warm, and friendly manner, always upholding AREA15’s high standards of service.
Additional duties involve setting up venues for full operation, ensuring all supplies and tools are in place, maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation according to Clark County health standards, and managing inventory counts before and after shifts. The role demands a high level of physical stamina to handle equipment and transport heavy items such as kegs, ice, and pallets weighing up to 400 lbs. Effective communication skills, organizational ability, flexibility in working hours—including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime—and the capability to stay composed under pressure are essential for success in this position.
Candidates should not only focus on operational excellence but also act as brand advocates by providing visitors with accurate information regarding venues, menus, and pricing, while monitoring guest behavior and addressing concerns promptly and positively. Professional appearance and demeanor adhering to company standards are required. This is a part-time position at AREA15 Las Vegas that offers an exciting work environment at the forefront of experiential entertainment, ideal for individuals who are self-motivated and eager to learn and grow within the hospitality and entertainment industry.
