The Mobile Clinic Driver role is a critical position within the Mobile Screening Team, supporting WellMed physicians and contracted providers by ensuring the safe transport and operational readiness of mobile clinic units. This role involves driving mobile units to various locations within Las Vegas and surrounding areas, including the Greater Nevada Market. The Driver is responsible for maintaining the mechanical and aesthetic condition of the mobile units according to WellMed Clinic safety and environment standards. The position requires a commitment to excellent customer service, as the driver interacts directly with patients, staff, and visitors. Duties include preparing the mobile clinic for daily operations, assisting with patient intake, unloading and helping patients onto and from the mobile unit, maintaining confidentiality, securing the unit at designated sites, and keeping maintenance and readiness records. The role demands physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and flexibility to work in all weather conditions with frequent travel (25%-50% of the time). Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Must be 25 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and insurable under company policies
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and scheduled Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) inquiries
  • Experience driving large vehicles such as school bus, motor home, or ambulance
  • Customer service or transportation delivery experience
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

  • Customer service or transportation delivery experience
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Proven effective verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Drive the mobile unit to various locations in Las Vegas and surrounding areas including Greater Nevada Market
  • Drive the mobile clinic to and from designated areas complying with all motor vehicle codes and regulations
  • Comply with departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code
  • Prepare the mobile clinic to receive staff, patients, and visitors
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service with patients and staff
  • Assist in safe unloading, helping patients into and from the mobile clinic
  • Assist in patient intake by collecting names and paperwork
  • Communicate daily with patients, visitors, providers, and staff throughout the mobile clinics
  • Maintain confidentiality of all materials and ensure proper release of information
  • Prepare the mobile clinic for next day readiness including generator, water, and waste disposal
  • Provide cleaning services during and after daily use of the mobile clinic
  • Secure the mobile clinic nightly at approved location or storage unit
  • Maintain mobile clinic maintenance records and report minor mechanical needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
