The Mobile Maintenance Technician role within this esteemed company offers a dynamic and engaging career path for skilled technicians passionate about commercial trucks and tire services. Positioned at the Commercial Truck & Tire Centers, this role focuses on providing essential on-road services and maintenance, ensuring that commercial vehicles operate safely and efficiently. This position boasts a competitive starting pay range from $30 to $38 per hour, with top performers earning over $100,000 annually. Beyond the guaranteed base rate, technicians benefit from incentive earnings equating to 35% of their service labor sales, allowing for the opportunity to surpass the base guarantee based on their performance.

The physical demands of this role are significant, involving manual tasks such as lifting commercial tires and wheels, standing for extended periods, bending, and squatting. Candidates should be prepared to engage in a physically active position that requires stamina and attention to detail. While ASE certification in Medium/Heavy Truck is preferred, it is not mandatory. Additional qualifications like experience in commercial trailer body repair will be considered a plus.

The company emphasizes a support system for its employees that includes ongoing training and opportunities for career advancement, creating a pathway for sustained professional development. Comprehensive benefits further support the well-being of the team, including medical, prescription drug, vision, dental, wellness programs, life insurance, 401(k) with company matching, paid vacation, sick pay, holidays, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and a safe work environment.

Located in Compton, California, at 19118 South Reyes Avenue, this opportunity offers flexible shift hours tailored to client demand, allowing for a work schedule that balances professional commitments with personal needs. The recruitment process is streamlined for candidates, with rapid communication following applications, prescreening questionnaires, and options for phone or onsite interviews. Goodyear’s employment dashboard ensures transparency and ease of communication throughout every step of the recruitment journey.

Joining Goodyear means becoming part of a diverse and inclusive workforce committed to providing excellent service and creating a supportive workplace.
