Job Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position
- Must be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements
Job Qualifications
- ASE certification in medium/heavy truck preferred but not required
- Experience in commercial trailer body repair a plus
- One year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience
- Valid driver’s license for required vehicle type
- Ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on wheel end work, brakes, air systems, and more
- Provide specialized tire services including mounting, dismounting, and repairs
- Uphold safety and liability policies ensuring safe and efficient work environment
- Collaborate as part of a motivated team to meet organizational goals and deadlines
- Perform manual tasks including lifting commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
