We are currently seeking enthusiastic and responsible Mixologists/Bartenders to join our team at Applebee's Grill + Bar in Carson City, NV. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility for those who are passionate about customer service and mixology. As a Mixologist/Bartender, you will be pivotal in enhancing the guest experience by expertly preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and care. The position demands a thorough knowledge of drink recipes, an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to responsible alcohol service.

This role also includes managing bar inventory, maintaining cleanliness and order behind the bar, and performing opening and closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations. You will be expected to use our POS system for order taking and payment processing accurately, contributing to the efficient running of the bar area. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience as a bartender or mixologist
ability to serve alcohol responsibly
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to stand for extended periods
legal age to serve alcohol
ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
basic math skills for handling transactions
ability to follow health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
previous bartending or mixology experience preferred
strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
familiarity with POS systems
responsible alcohol service and adherence to safety protocols

Job Duties

receives drink orders from guests or servers
mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wine, bottled beer, and draught beer
serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all laws and company alcohol service policies and procedures
enters drink and/or food orders into POS terminal and collects payment from guests
completes sales and inventory reports accurately
maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies
cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock
performs opening closing, and side work duties, as assigned
