Applebee's - Menaul is currently seeking to hire full time or part time Mixologists/Bartenders to join their team. The role of a Mixologist/Bartender at this location goes beyond just preparing drinks. It involves delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience every time they visit. As a Mixologist/Bartender, you will be responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while adhering to company policies and local regulations regarding alcohol service. This includes verifying the legal drinking age of customers to ensure responsible alcohol consumption. The position entails using the point of sale (POS) system to enter orders and handle transactions, managing bar inventory, maintaining cleanliness of the bar area and equipment, and performing opening and closing duties. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
must be of legal drinking age (21+)
ability to stand for extended periods
reliable transportation to the restaurant location
excellent interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
knowledge of local and state alcohol service laws
previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred

Job Qualifications

Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred
knowledge of drink mixing techniques and recipes
excellent customer service skills
ability to operate POS systems accurately
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

Receives drink orders from guests or servers
mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wine, bottled beer, and draught beer
serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all laws and company alcohol service policies and procedures
enters drink and/or food orders into POS terminal and collects payment from guests
completes sales and inventory reports accurately
maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies
cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock
performs opening closing, and side work duties, as assigned
