Join the Dave & Buster's team as a Mixologist/Bartender at the Madison location, where you will play a critical role in creating memorable guest experiences through your skillful preparation and serving of beverages. This role is available both full time and part time, providing flexibility for candidates. As a Mixologist/Bartender, your primary responsibility is to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests with professionalism and care, ensuring that every guest receives excellent service during their visit. The position demands adherence to responsible beverage service practices including verifying age, complying with all regulations, and following company policies for alcohol service. You will be responsible for taking drink orders, preparing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and handling payment transactions via the point-of-sale system.
Besides direct guest interaction, you will also manage bar inventory by ordering necessary supplies and maintaining clean and organized work areas. Duties such as opening, closing, and side work are part of your role as well, supporting the smooth operation of the bar area. Your ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy periods will be essential to supporting a positive guest environment. Job Duties
- Receives drink orders from guests or servers, mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wine, bottled beer, and draught beer
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all laws and company alcohol service policies and procedures
- Enters drink and/or food orders into POS terminal and collects payment from guests
- Completes sales and inventory reports accurately
- Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies
- Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock
- Performs opening, closing, and side work duties, as assigned
