Job Description
Invited is a premier private club management company that has been shaping exceptional member experiences since its establishment in 1957. With a rich history spanning over six decades, Invited stands as the largest owner and operator of private clubs in the United States, managing an impressive portfolio of over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs across the nation. The company prides itself on delivering unparalleled service and offering first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and fitness centers among many other luxuries. Invited operates with the central mission of building meaningful relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and its dedicated team of more than 17,000 employees.
The role of a bartender at Invited is crucial in upholding the club's high standards of hospitality and member satisfaction. As a Bartender, you will be entrusted with maintaining beverage control, ensuring accurate pouring and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic products, and keeping the bar area meticulously clean and organized. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of club members and guests. You will play a key role in consistently executing the club's 3-steps of service—greeting, serving, and thanking members and guests—to create a warm and personalized hospitality experience.
Reporting to leadership such as the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets, you will be an integral part of the Food & Beverage team. Your daily responsibilities will include delivering top-tier bar service, preparing the bar area for service by setting up all necessary items such as bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the club's beverage offerings including liquors, beers, and wines. You will be expected to greet members promptly, know their names when possible, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will handle any member or guest concerns with professionalism and effective service recovery techniques.
At Invited, teamwork and a proactive approach to supporting colleagues is highly valued. You will contribute to a positive work environment by assisting fellow employees and participating actively in team efforts. This role also demands adherence to company policies, safety standards, and a consistently professional demeanor in all interactions. The dynamic nature of club operations means that flexibility and a willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned by management are essential.
Physical demands of the role include standing and walking for extended periods, working in various environments, and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 100 lbs. You will use tools such as trays, POS systems, bottle openers, wine tools, blenders, and bar dishwashers to perform your duties effectively. Invited offers a competitive compensation package that varies based on qualifications, experience, and location, along with comprehensive benefits for full-time team members including medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
This opportunity provides a chance to join a prestigious and well-established company that values its people and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for its members. The Bartender role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within a supportive and professional environment. Invited is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion and diversity in its workforce.
