Job Description

Established with the vision to be a different kind of company, Starbucks prioritizes celebrating the rich tradition of coffee while innovating ways to connect people through their shared love for it. Within Starbucks, the Reserve brand plays a critical role by offering specialty coffees in unique flagship locations, including Starbucks Reserve Stores and Reserve Kitchens distributed across the United States. These locations focus on craft, exclusivity, and providing an elevated coffee experience that goes beyond the ordinary.
Starbucks Reserve locations aim to create memorable moments for guests through immersive, crafted beverage programs and exquisite service. The company is committed to developing leaders who embody Starbucks' core values and inspire teams through their dedication to service and passion for the craft. Working at Starbucks means being part of a community where diversity and inclusiveness are valued, where team members are empowered to grow professionally and personally, and where the customer experience is always the top priority.
The role of a Mixologist (Bartender) at Starbucks Reserve exemplifies the company’s commitment to beverage innovation and craft. Mixologists at Starbucks Reserve are master artisans of beverage creation, skillfully combining elements of beer, wine, and craft cocktails to elevate the Starbucks Reserve Experience. They serve as global brand ambassadors who proudly represent Starbucks’ premium beverage offerings while honing their craft and encouraging customer engagement. These beverage experts showcase a deep knowledge of ingredients, techniques, and the rich stories behind Starbucks’ Reserve coffees and cocktails, merging tradition with creativity.
As a Mixologist, you will prepare and serve a curated selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This role is multifaceted, requiring you to maintain high standards of quality and presentation while adhering strictly to local and federal laws regarding alcohol service. Being composed under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude, and delivering exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments are key to this position. You will be responsible for mixing ingredients according to recipes, garnishing drinks attractively, managing bar inventory, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with previous experience in bartending or the hospitality industry who are passionate about mixology and eager to be part of an innovative and collaborative environment. Starbucks offers flexible work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate dynamic business needs. Joining Starbucks Reserve means contributing to a brand that celebrates craft at every pour, making every drink an opportunity to connect and inspire.
Starbucks partners enjoy comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and the chance to be part of a company recognized worldwide for its culture, values, and leadership development programs. Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring a supportive and accessible workplace for all employees. With Starbucks’ strong focus on education and growth, employees have access to tuition coverage and other resources to further their career paths. If you aim to inspire customers through expert beverage craftsmanship and exceptional service, this mixologist role at Starbucks Reserve offers a rewarding and impactful career path.
