Infuse Hospitality is currently seeking a dynamic and adaptable Mixologist / Barista Floater to join their team and support a variety of client locations throughout the Chicagoland area. This role is designed for an experienced hospitality professional who values flexibility and variety, enjoys working in diverse environments, and excels at delivering consistently excellent guest experiences. As a Floater, the successful candidate will provide essential coverage across cafes, bars, hospitality venues, and events as scheduling demands arise, showcasing their versatility and professional skills. This position requires a high level of adaptability, professionalism, and confidence to step into new spaces while maintaining Infuse Hospitality's high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
The Mixologist / Barista Floater will play a critical role in preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and handcrafted cocktails, ensuring that every guest receives friendly, professional, and engaging service. This role involves a range of responsibilities including staffing support across multiple client sites, short-term assignments, and special events which contribute to the dynamic nature of the position. The individual will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down clean and organized coffee and bar stations, while strictly following food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Additionally, operating POS systems and handling cash and card transactions accurately are integral to the role.

Job Requirements
- Previous experience working as a barista, bartender, or mixologist
- ability to adapt to various work environments and client locations
- knowledge of espresso machine operation and cocktail making
- reliable transportation within Chicagoland
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- physical capability to stand for long hours and lift moderate weight
- alcohol service certification or willingness to acquire
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or mixologist (experience in both is strongly preferred)
- comfortable working in different locations and adapting to new environments
- working knowledge of espresso equipment and classic cocktail preparation
- reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Chicagoland area
- strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
