Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Minimum of 1-year culinary experience
- Knowledge of food products, wines, liquors, cocktails and service standards
- Practical experience with basic knife and cooking skills
- Good communication skills
- Availability to work AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts as required
- Maintain extensive knowledge of menus and bar items
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year culinary experience
- Food and beverage knowledge including wines, liquors, cocktails, and proper service standards
- Knowledge and practical experience with basic knife and cooking skills
- Maintains extensive knowledge of all menu and bar items
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts as required
- Experience within a hotel or resort environment preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of beverages including specialty drinks and cocktails following recipes
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menus, recipes, beverage quality standards and regulations
- Wash, peel, chop, juice, and measure ingredients ensuring freshness and proper storage
- Adhere to sanitation and safety standards for all preparation areas and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels of beverage ingredients and supplies, restock as needed and report shortages
- Maintain par levels for all beverage-related items
- Comply with food handling regulations including labeling, temperature control, and allergen awareness
