Responsibilities include conducting ongoing research and development for new recipes, maintaining detailed documentation and costing strategies, and ensuring operational excellence in compliance with health and liquor laws. This role also demands leadership in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising bar staff, as well as managing budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships.

The Bar Supervisor and Head Mixologist will collaborate with kitchen staff, management, and ownership to create cross-menu integrations and thematic events, striving to keep the program fresh and industry-leading. The position includes additional duties such as executing bar-related promotions and events, tracking performance metrics, and representing the bar program in interactions with VIP guests, including crafting bespoke cocktails for special events and private functions. We offer relocation assistance to San Antonio, including moving expenses and temporary housing, underscoring our commitment to attracting top talent.

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, which includes base salary, bonuses, tip shares, and profit incentives, with an hourly wage of $22-$25 plus tips. The role demands flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, and opportunities for professional development such as tastings and conferences. This role offers a unique opportunity for creative leaders to shape a destination bar program at a prestigious venue and elevate the art of the cocktail to new heights.
