Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in bartending or mixology preferably in a hotel or upscale venue
- Strong knowledge of spirits and cocktail preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Relevant certifications such as TABC or ServSafe preferred
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to follow health safety and alcohol service regulations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mixologist or advanced bartender preferably in a hotel or upscale venue
- Deep knowledge of spirits liqueurs wines and cocktail techniques
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Relevant certifications e.g. TABC ServSafe or equivalent preferred
- Creativity and a passion for developing new flavor profiles
- Familiarity with current mixology trends and techniques e.g. infusions molecular mixology craft cocktails
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive professional attitude
Job Duties
- Design and prepare innovative cocktails as well as execute classic recipes with precision
- Curate seasonal drink menus that align with the hotel’s brand and guest preferences
- Provide personalized service engaging guests and offering recommendations based on their tastes
- Maintain a clean organized and fully stocked bar
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and alcohol service regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management on promotions events and special beverage programs
- Train and mentor junior bar staff when required
