Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred (or equivalent)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Energetic and positive demeanor
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about the company’s menu and customer-related policies
  • Previous experience as a restaurant mixologist, bartender, bar-back, server, waiter/waitress, runner, front of house, or other FOH restaurant job will be helpful to being successful at this job

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a genuine smile, build rapport, and ensure an enjoyable, quality bar experience
  • Look for visual and verbal cues to identify the experience the guest wants and customize the service to meet those expectations
  • Promptly and accurately take food and beverage requests from guests
  • Ensure expedient service of food and beverages to the guest
  • Learn menu and beverages and recommend and upsell items
  • Accurately ring all orders into the POS system while simultaneously interacting with guests when applicable
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar guests (cocktails, beer, wine, etc.)
  • Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
