We are currently seeking a dedicated Mixing Operator to join our dynamic production team. This role is integral to the manufacturing process, involving the entire mixing procedure from the setup and operation of coating machines to rigorous quality control and basic maintenance tasks. The Mixing Operator is responsible for handling flammable solvents, resins, and solid chemicals in strict compliance with safety protocols, including the mandatory use of respirators as per OSHA standards. Candidates will be expected to set up and operate machinery according to production schedules and job specifications, monitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, and coating thickness, and perform equipment changeovers and material handling using forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.

Attention to detail is paramount, as the role requires conducting thorough quality inspections of coated materials to ensure adherence to established standards. Operators must maintain accurate production records and effectively communicate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations. Physically, the position demands the ability to perform tasks involving static pull strength up to 84 pounds, pushing loads up to 60 pounds, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds, as well as frequent climbing of steps and sustained periods of focus. Proficiency in basic computer skills for operating production software and maintaining digital documentation is also essential.
