The role of Mixing Crew Member at Continental is integral to the manufacturing process of high-quality tires. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • successful completion of the WorkKeys Assessment with a minimum Silver certification level
  • willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to read and understand specifications and follow instructions
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to accurately perform calculations, measurements, and documentation
  • ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operates and assists with industrial mixing equipment
  • monitors compound weight measurements and adheres to recipe specifications
  • utilizes Mixing Management Systems (MMS) to support production processes
  • exchanges pallets, containers, and trolleys for continuous production flow
  • applies chemical weight tolerances and maintains product consistency
  • troubleshoots machine cycle issues to minimize downtime
  • operates forklifts safely to transport materials
  • verifies recipe measurements and ensures accurate material handling
  • reads specifications and uses hand tools and gauging devices to monitor quality
  • responds to equipment malfunctions and notifies supervision
  • performs automatic and manual control panel functions
  • complies with plant, environmental, quality, and safety policies
  • assists shift leaders and management with operational duties
