The role of Mixer Truck Driver at M&R Ready Mix, Inc. is a vital position responsible for the operation of concrete mixer trucks, delivering ready-mixed concrete to various customer sites. This full-time role requires a dedicated professional who values safety, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. The Mixer Truck Driver is essential in maintaining the quality and timely delivery of concrete products, adhering to all occupational health and safety standards, and representing the company with professionalism on every delivery.

In this role, drivers will operate specialized concrete mixer trucks to ensure concrete is delivered efficiently and unloaded correctly, meeting both customer expectations and regulatory guidelines. Beyond driving, the position involves maintaining and cleaning assigned equipment, performing minor maintenance tasks, and supporting a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and DOT/FMCSA safety practices. Physical demands of the job include lifting, prolonged sitting and standing, ladder climbing, and flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including nights and weekends.

M&R Ready Mix seeks candidates with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean driving record. Proficiency in English and basic math, knowledge of local roads, and familiarity with concrete handling practices is preferred. Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to professionally represent the company and maintain strong customer relationships. Preferred additional skills include minor truck maintenance and repair knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class B CDL and acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in English and basic math skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (or 100 lbs with assistance)
  • Ability to climb and descend ladders
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours including nights and weekends
