Drivers are trained to perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck's safety and functionality, including cleaning windows, checking for leaks, and reporting maintenance needs promptly.

The responsibilities of the Concrete Delivery Driver include verifying job site addresses before departure, managing the complete loading and unloading process of the concrete including monitoring slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, and admixes, and complying with electronic logging device operation requirements. Moreover, drivers support the company mission and core values by creating a supportive and productive work environment. This includes setting a positive example for coworkers and upholding the company’s standards in all customer and vendor interactions.

This role also requires certain physical abilities such as manual dexterity and physical mobility, including the ability to lift weights between 45 to 70 pounds multiple times per day and climb stairs up to 10 feet. Drivers must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings and obtain a valid medical examiner’s card. The position requires candidates to be at least 21 years of age and to hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record in the State of Texas. Experience of one to three years in a similar or related role is preferred.
