Job Description

Etz Hayim Holdings, S.P.C. is a leading enterprise that owns and operates the reputable brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals. The company manages a comprehensive operation comprising over 300 acres of hemp farming, extraction, chemical processing, packaging, and warehousing to support both its brands and private label customers. Founded with a focus on sustainability and accessibility, Etz Hayim embodies a vertically integrated business model that enables full control over the entire production process. This integration ranges from product inception and seed farming to extraction, finished product formulation, packaging, and distribution, ensuring high-quality, affordable, and safe CBD and THC products are available to consumers nationwide.

Lazarus Naturals, founded in 2016, is committed to providing safe and accessible CBD products to everyone who would benefit from them, regardless of financial status. The company’s pioneering 60% Assistance Program offers substantial discounts for veterans, people with disabilities, and low-income individuals, reflecting their mission to democratize access to natural medicine. Cycling Frog, another brand under Etz Hayim, aims to normalize the consumption of casual-use THC products by delivering convenient, affordable, and enjoyable sessionable THC beverages. Priced competitively with beer and soda, Cycling Frog’s low-potency, ready-to-drink THC beverages are legally available across all 50 states through internet sales and retail outlets, transforming the cultural perception and consumption of THC.

The Mixer Operator role, based in Portland, Oregon, reports directly to the Production Supervisor and plays a critical role in maintaining the high manufacturing standards that Etz Hayim holds. This position is vital to ensuring all Work-In-Progress (WIP) materials and raw ingredients are correctly verified, inspected, measured, mixed, and stored in adherence to company policies, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Batch Production Record (BPR) instructions. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely completing formulations on schedule and to specification, assisting in the optimization of formulations alongside the Research and Development (R&D) team, and contributing to project-related activities by interpreting results and providing critical assessments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Quality Control and Inventory Control ensures that materials and products meet cGMP standards consistently. The role also includes maintaining organized and clean work areas, adhering to all safety and operational protocols, executing end-of-day processes including checklists, cleaning, and storing, and performing backup duties related to formulations at the Portland facility.

Etz Hayim Holdings values individuals who can work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The company fosters a supportive, socially responsible environment committed to its founding values of democratizing access to CBD and THC, normalizing cannabis consumption in the United States, providing effective natural medicines within a challenged healthcare system, and building towards a fully circular and sustainable economy and supply chain. This role offers a competitive pay range of $23.00 to $24.50 per hour, reflecting Etz Hayim’s commitment to fair compensation in a dynamic, values-driven company.
