BURNCO is currently seeking Ready-Mix Drivers in Colorado who possess a strong safety mindset and take pride in the punctual and secure delivery of construction materials. This full-time, permanent, field-based position is based at the Windsor Plant in Windsor, Colorado. Ready-Mix Drivers play an essential role at BURNCO by safely operating ready-mix trucks to deliver time-sensitive concrete to various construction sites. The role demands a high level of responsibility as it involves not only driving but also performing daily maintenance checks, maintaining cleanliness, following safety policies, and complying with local, state, and federal regulations including DOT standards. Additionally, the position requires consistent communication and escalation of any operational or safety concerns to supervisors.

Candidates for this role are expected to have commercial driving experience, specifically two years of ready-mix driving or one year of commercial driving experience, along with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). This position is safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a PSP, MVR, background check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical assessment before hiring. Drivers will work in various weather conditions and must utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, vests, glasses, ear plugs, and hard hats. The ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining fine motor skills and active hearing is essential for safe operation.
