Now Hiring: Compounder (Mixing & Batching) at KDC/ONE Columbus, full-time position with starting pay ranging from $20 to $24.50 per hour.
At KDC/ONE, the role of Compounder is crucial to the production process, where science meets creativity to bring bulk products to life. The Compounder is responsible for blending ingredients, fine-tuning formulas, and operating mixing and batching equipment with precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment at the New Albany facility located at Beech Road and 161. The role requires careful measurement and staging of raw materials, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining operational compliance. Working at KDC/ONE means being involved in the magic behind some of the top beauty and personal care brands, helping to mix the products that consumers use every day.
The Compounder will be equipped with various responsibilities including operating large batching tanks and mixers, conducting visual quality inspections, and collaborating with laboratory testing teams to collect in-process samples for formula adjustments. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards is paramount, given the chemical-friendly environment and the need for personal protective equipment (PPE). The position also involves equipment cleaning and sanitation to maintain compliance and ensure product integrity.
Employees in this role will handle documentation and inventory control using SAP software, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials and finished goods. The Compounder will work closely with maintenance teams for equipment calibration and upkeep. The job requires physical stamina such as lifting up to 80 pounds and standing for extended periods, along with a comfort level around hot water, industrial cleaners, and other processing equipment.
This career opportunity at KDC/ONE Columbus is designed for individuals who are passionate about manufacturing excellence and eager to contribute to a leading company in the beauty and personal care sector.
