The company’s Defense Systems Command & Control and Weapons Integration (CWI) Division, specifically within the Global Command and Control Solutions (GC2S) Business Unit, is seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 3 to join its team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the CWI Division Director of Mission Assurance, with dotted-line reporting to the GC2S Business Unit Vice President. The role centers on driving quality and mission assurance standards across multiple programs that deliver both hardware and software solutions to a diverse customer base including government and military clients.

The Mission Assurance Manager 3 will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards, policies, and contractual requirements. The incumbent will work closely with organizational unit directors, program managers, functional leaders, as well as customer and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) representatives to maintain superior quality performance. Emphasizing ethical leadership and trust-building, the role demands an individual adept at continuous improvement practices, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action management, and data-driven decision-making.

This position requires a strategic thinker capable of developing and executing measurable goals for quality and mission assurance, thriving within a collaborative multi-functional team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to lead an inclusive and motivated workforce. The role also involves managing staffing plans and budgets, developing junior personnel for career advancement, and ensuring clear role accountability and responsibility alignment across the quality organization. Traveling up to 25% of the time is expected, making flexibility an important aspect of this role.

The employment type is full-time with a competitive salary range of $167,500 to $251,300 annually, dependent on experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
