As a Full-Time Minibar Attendant at IHG, you play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring that guest room ServiBars, commonly known as minibars, are consistently well-stocked, clean, and maintained to the highest standards. This position requires a hands-on approach to inventory management, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for inspecting and replenishing minibars, accurately recording guest consumption with specialized handheld devices, and maintaining the associated storerooms and carts. Your vigilance in reporting any repair needs, along with your ability to perform basic repairs and deep cleaning of ServiBars, directly contributes to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
In this role, you are expected to collaborate effectively with multiple hotel departments to promote a unified team environment that prioritizes customer service excellence. Beyond the operational duties, you will ensure that all in-room accessories and promotional materials are present and in good condition, contributing to the overall ambiance and guest comfort. This full-time role demands a strong physical capacity to handle, push, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, operate within various hotel areas including guest corridors and service elevators, and perform necessary physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and pulling.

Job Requirements
- Ability to handle, carry or push items weighing as much as 50 pounds
- ability to move about the guest corridors, service elevators, and storeroom
- ability to unlock, open, push, pull, bend and lift
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills
- communication skills for interacting with guests and supervisors
- alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- ability to read and write when taking and recording inventory, recording consumption, completing paperwork
- basic math skills used when taking inventory and recording consumption
Job Duties
- Inspect and restock guest room ServiBars according to established standards
- accurately record guests consumption using the Servitron hand-held unit or other established method
- ensure that all in-room accessories and promotional materials are in place
- maintain an adequate stock of products on the ServiCart and replenish the cart at the end of the day
- maintain the storeroom in a neat and orderly manner
- report ServiBars and ServiCarts requiring repairs to the Engineering department
- complete basic repairs and deep-cleaning of ServiBars as required
- alert Management of any problems or issues so that prompt, corrective action can be taken where appropriate
- promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
- perform other duties as assigned
