This is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role located at 160 Central Park S, New York City. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $31.19 to $41.59, along with eligibility for service charge compensation. This position centers on overseeing and guiding minibar and refreshment center attendants to deliver a seamless and positive in-room refreshment experience for guests. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, restocking supplies, maintaining equipment cleanliness, handling opening and closing procedures, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. The role requires frequent guest interaction, meticulous record-keeping using software systems, coordination between staff and management, and quick response to guest needs and special requests. Employees are expected to serve as role models and mentors within the department, fostering a cooperative team environment and ensuring that performance expectations and operational goals are clearly communicated and met. This role demands strong attention to detail when managing stock levels, freshness of products, and overall presentation of minibar areas. Physical requirements include the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift and move items up to 25 pounds, navigate confined spaces and stairs, and perform fine motor tasks. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in minibar or food and beverage services preferred
- Ability to operate computer inventory and sales systems
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work full-time in New York City
- Willingness to follow safety policies and procedures
- Professional appearance and confidentiality maintenance

Job Duties
- Provide guidance to minibar and refreshment center attendants
- Collaborate in opening and closing tasks including preparation of supplies and cleaning
- Facilitate a positive guest experience with in-room refreshment centers
- Conduct inventory of minibars, room accessories, and promotional materials and restock as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and good appearance of refreshment centers
- Record sales using computer systems and restock minibars according to instructions
- Monitor product availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels
- Use software to assign rooms to attendants and ensure notes are communicated to management
- Prepare daily room inventory lists and replenish carts
- Place emergency product orders with suppliers
- Respond to guest requests and assign tasks accordingly
- Communicate operational issues to hotel management
- Serve as a role model and mentor within the department
- Assist management in setting and communicating performance goals and deadlines
- Ensure teamwork for optimal guest service
- Adhere to safety policies and report accidents
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
