The Mini Bar Attendant position is an essential role within our Housekeeping team, focusing on the upkeep and management of the mini bar amenities provided in our guest rooms. This role involves inventory management, stocking, and ensuring that all self-service mini bars meet stringent cleanliness and operational standards. You will collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager and Beverage Manager to maintain consistent inventory levels and fulfill guest needs efficiently. This position requires keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while also supporting team goals. Our Mini Bar Attendants contribute directly to guest satisfaction by ensuring that all mini bars are well-stocked, clean, and properly charged for consumed items, supporting the overall smooth operation of the guest rooms. The role involves physical mobility and stamina, including the ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 40 pounds, making physical readiness essential. We offer a competitive pay rate starting at $20.56 per hour, with an array of employee benefits such as complimentary on-site parking, discounted and complimentary hotel stays, and accrued vacation and sick time after 90 days of employment. Additionally, this role requires flexibility, including availability on weekends and holidays, to meet the dynamic demands of guest services. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Good problem solving, interpersonal, verbal skills, math skills, and multitasking skills
  • Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Resourcefulness to stay organized and independently on task
  • Physical stamina and mobility to reach, kneel, and bend
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and working order standards for all equipment, report any working order issues
  • Take proper inventory of products and restock when necessary
  • Complete daily work assignments and checklists
  • Check mini bars in guest rooms, post charges for consumed items, replenish consumed items and compare against par list to ensure the mini fridge and dry items are at correct par levels
