Members of the Air National Guard receive world-class technical training and leadership development, empowering them to excel in their military roles while gaining valuable skills applicable to civilian careers. With a strong emphasis on balancing military service and civilian responsibilities, the Air National Guard appeals to those seeking meaningful employment with the ability to remain deeply connected to their local communities.
The role of an Air National Guard Administrator (3F5X1) is essential to the smooth and effective operation of military organizations, executives, and commanders. Administrators provide the backbone of office management and human resources functions that are indispensable to maintaining an organized and efficient working environment. This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary of $49,838.78 per year and encompasses responsibilities that support organizational communications, personnel management, and executive assistance at high levels within the military structure. The Administrator's role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to streamline processes to ensure timely correspondence, distribution, and workflow management.
As an Air National Guard Administrator, you will be entrusted with managing critical office processes such as correspondence preparation, distribution coordination, suspense tracking, and comprehensive workflow oversight. Your role extends to human resources management, where you will handle organizational personnel and manpower programs pivotal to operational readiness and effectiveness. Additionally, you will provide executive support to General Officers and Senior Executive Service civilians, ensuring these leaders can focus on strategic decision-making while you manage their administrative needs. Candidates interested in this position must be prepared for the commitment involved in military service. The job mandates a contract as a commissioned officer in the Air National Guard and requires individuals to undergo rigorous training if they lack prior military experience.
