It operates with a mission to fly, fight, and win in air, space, and cyberspace domains anytime and anywhere. The Air Force offers a diverse range of career opportunities, covering fields from healthcare to engineering, all grounded in its core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. Committed to the highest standards of service and professionalism, the Air Force supports the personal and professional development of its members through world-class job training and educational benefits. The organization provides a structured, disciplined environment where individuals can make unique contributions to national security and defense.

This full-time role is for a Dietitian within the U.S. Air Force, offering a starting pay of $57,088.25 per year. The position is dynamic and involves deployments and travel, with work typically on the road. As a vital part of the healthcare team, the Dietitian plays a crucial role in advancing healthy living practices among Airmen to ensure they remain in both peak mental and physical condition for optimal mission performance. Dietitians in the Air Force assess individual nutritional needs, develop and implement customized nutrition plans, and provide education about healthy eating tailored to the physical and operational demands faced by service members. They support deployed military operations by optimizing human performance through sound nutrition practices and facilitating supportive environments. This position offers a unique blend of clinical dietetic practice and operational responsibility, making it ideal for those passionate about military service and nutrition science. Joining the Air Force as a Dietitian not only means serving the country with dedication but also gaining valuable skills and experiences that are transferable to numerous healthcare and wellness careers after military service.
